Description
The Huntington Beach Wetlands consist of 118 acres of vital wetlands habitat and are owned and managed by the community-based organization, Huntington Beach Wetlands Conservancy. The Conservancy's most fully restored wetlands area, Talbert Marsh off Brookhurst Street, protects 25 acres of salt marsh habitat and offers a short interpretive trail. Huntington Beach’s shoreline stretches for 10 uninterrupted miles of wide, sandy beach begging water lovers and sun worshippers to come play. Five distinct public beaches sprawl along the coast, each with its own amenities and charm. Our sands are so inviting, in fact, they’ve won awards, including America’s Best Beach by Time Magazine, Best Beach in California by USA Today’s Readers Choice, and Best West Coast Beach by Coastal Living Magazine. It’s all here: beach volleyball, surfing, and sunsets straight out of your dreams.
