Description
This still life photograph of the lady cheese graters was found in a French culinary gift boutique in Nimes, France. Cheese grater in French = rape fromage. Nims is a city in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. It is the capital of the Gard department. Nims is located between the Mediterranean Sea and the Cannes mountains. The estimated population of Nims is 175, 503. Nims has a rich history, dating back to the Roman Empire when the city was home to 50,000 to 60,000 people. Several famous monuments are in Nims, such as the Nims Arena and the Maison Carrera. Because of this, Nims is often referred to as the French Rome.
