Description
Photograph of an Allen's Hummingbird perched on barbed wire was taken at the Urban Forest, Huntington Beach, Ca. It is a passive park featuring California native plants and trees, and low water flora. Allen's Hummingbird is a small, compact, and stocky hummingbird. The bill is straight and about as long as the head. The tail extends past the wings when perched and the outermost tail feather is narrower than the rest.

Capturing hummingbirds take patience and the right equipment. Sharp and beautiful, especially the eyes.
