Description
This digital art composite won 2015 OC Fair's BEST DIGITALLY MANIPULATED PHOTO in the Faces of the Fair competition. It was created and designed using several of my original photographed images taken at the Orange County Fair. The results of digitally painting the images enhance my photograph to obtain a more painterly effect. The use of post production tools also add atmosphere and textural interest. The usual various adjustments to color, brightness, tone, dimensions, etc. were also incorporated in the final process. A variety of images used from my travels were arranged and combined to compose one complete image. My process consists of many manipulated and blended layers used in unique techniques to create a one of a kind work of art. I once painted to make my photographs look like paintings. Now I digitally paint my photographs to make them look like paintings.
